All New Rooms Now Open
King Kamehameha's Kona Beach Hotel now features all-new rooms, which bring the Big Island's definitive identity indoors. Plush carpeting flows in whorls of lava, reflecting the very foundation of the island; new wood chairs are upholstered in a Kona coffee bean print with a carved coffee leaf pattern; pillow shams, wall coverings and dusters borrow hues from the Hawaiian rainforest: a multitude of fern greens, rich browns and the occasional splash of fiery orange magma. Brand new bedding has been added to each new room, and solid wood furniture is chiseled in bold a Polynesian tattoo motif. Bathroom upgrades include new tubs, toilets, showers and shiny fixtures, plus luxurious Bath & Body Works products and hotel basics like new hair dryers, irons and ironing boards. Each room features a new flat screen TV, complimentary Kona coffee and coffee makers, and complimentary wireless Internet.
