In late 2008, an entire tower of 230 rooms at the King Kamehameha Kona Beach Hotel was closed to embark on an extensive renovation.  Beginning July, 2009, you'll experience a brand new hotel from the moment you step into the new elevator.  In addition to the all-new rooms, you'll also find completely refurbished corridors, and all new bathrooms.  Even all of the plumbing, electrical fire safety systems, tubs, sinks, and sliding glass doors are all brand new.  We are excited to announce that these all-new rooms will be open for guests in July, 2009.
