The iconic King Kamehameha's Kona Beach Hotel is home to the newly designed Honu's on the Beach Restaurant. Open daily serving a lavish breakfast buffet and a la carte breakfast, nightly dinner with seasonal creations by Executive Chef Roy Basilio and spectacular weekend buffets. Honu's offers spacious, open-air indoor/outdoor dining and a private dining room that seats up to 70 guests — perfect for private parties or get togethers.

Our guests can relax on the spacious lanai, complete with inviting fire pits, while enjoying the amazing white sand beaches, sunsets and never ending ocean views. A sunset cocktail may be paired with our irresistible Kiawe Smoked Pork Ribs served with Steamed Manapua Buns or our popular island fresh Sustainable Kampachi and Wild Ahi Sashimi.

Dinner choices on the new “Farm to Table” menu include Seared Diver Scallops with Big Island Creamed Corn and Fresh Asparagus, Hawaii Ranchers “Natural” N.Y. Steak with Potato Strings and Local Mushroom Sauce, Macadamia Nut Crusted Mahi Mahi with Thai Sticky Rice and Honu’s signature dish Charred Beef “Tataki” served with Sautéed Spinach and a Green Peppercorn Glaze.
