The iconic King Kamehameha's Kona Beach Hotel has opened its new restaurant, Honu's. Open daily for breakfast, dinner and spectacular weekend buffets. Honu's offers spacious, open-air indoor/outdoor dining and a private dining room that seats up to 70 — perfect for private parties or get togethers.
Our guests can relax on the spacious lanai, complete with inviting firepits, while enjoying the amazing white sand beaches and never ending views. A sunset cocktail may be paired with Braised Hawaiian Pork Ribs smothered with a zesty Pineapple Szechaun Glaze or crunchy Coconut Shrimp with Mango Dipping Sauce.
Dinner choices include Seared Diver Scallops with a mushroom cream sauce and Purple Hawaiian Mashed potatoes, a fresh maui onion and smoked gouda soup, shrimp scampi, macadamia-crusted mahi mahi or a pepper-seared ahi salad. Visit us to see all of the adventurous island entrees available.
To satisfy locals and visitors alike, Honu's continues the time-honored tradition of the hotel's lavish buffets, weekends and holidays, which feature a Prime Rib & Seafood Buffet. Available every Friday and Saturday.
